Bred Well Fed Well is back
27-May-2013 After a successful year in 2012, holding 58 workshops to 1600 participants, across NSW, WA, SA, QLD, VIC and Tasmania, BWFW is geared up for another great year.
Combining top genetics with superior ewe feed management can boost reproduction rates and Bred Well Fed well is continuing to show producers how.
The workshops are funded by Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) and Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) through their Making More from Sheep initiative as a part of a national program to increase sheep industry productivity and profitability.
The BWFW workshop is a hands-on workshop about breeding and feeding to make more money.
Topics include:
- Improving ewe nutrition
- Developing a breeding goal
- Developing a feed budget
- Breeding better ewes
